Abstract

In tomato cultivation, the problem of dead plants and rotten seedlings caused by continuous cropping has always been the most troublesome issue for growers.

In tomato cultivation, the problem of dead plants and rotten seedlings caused by continuous cropping has always been the most troublesome issue for growers.

Under traditional planting methods, the survival rate of native seedlings is difficult to guarantee. Once seedlings develop issues, not only does it require purchasing new seedlings for cultivation, wasting labor, but also missing the optimal planting season, resulting in significant losses.

Solution: Precision Protection by Live Microbes of Green Nitrogen Biotech

Active Microbes Group:

  • Planting Base: Yunnan Yuanmou County · Large Tomato Base
  • Application of live microbes: The microbial live bacteria produced by Yuanmou Planting Live Bacteria Station were applied in two doses. The first dose was Pseudopenicillium dantianum; the second dose was Trichoderma harzianum.
  • Dosage and Administration: 2 L per mu (approximately 0.067 hectares), applied via drip irrigation without additional labor costs.

Unused group:

In the untreated group without live microbial application, severe plant wilting and seedling rot occurred. Subsequent two applications of Trichoderma harzianum at 2 liters per mu successfully rescued the seedlings, restored their growth vigor, and minimized losses.

Effect: Significant improvement in survival rate and notable economic benefits

  • The seedling survival rate increased by 45%, with a survival rate exceeding 95%.
  • Invest 120 yuan/mu of live bacteria and bacteria, saving 1,000 yuan in seedling costs per mu
  • After using green nitrogen live bacteria to "protect", growers can boldly choose more cost-effective native seedlings

Recommended Application:

Application of green nitrogen live microbes in Yuanmou tomato base provides new ideas for fruit and vegetable planting:

  • Under the protection of green nitrogen live bacteria, native seedlings can also exhibit excellent performance.
  • Application by stages: Select targeted strains according to the requirements of different growth stages
  • Application: Applied via drip irrigation with water, labor-saving and efficient.

Green Nitrogen Biotech assistance Launches 'Hundred Counties, Ten Thousand Acres' Initiative! On-site Fermentation Technology Activates Farmland Potential, Inviting Counties Nationwide to Jointly Build Green Farmland

Currently, China's crop productivity growth faces constraints due to soil degradation, monoculture barriers, excessive reliance on chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and water scarcity. On March 16,2025, the research team of the National Key R&D Program "Synergistic Technologies and Demonstration for Soil Health Maintenance and Productivity Enhancement in Medium-Low Yield Fields in Northern Arid Regions" launched the "Demonstration Initiative for Soil Health and Yield Improvement in 100 Counties and 10,000 Hectares" in Beijing. Centered on microbial technology, the project aims to establish 10,000 hectares of demonstration fields across 100 counties within two years, promoting green agricultural development and exploring a win-win path for ecological and economic benefits.
