In the semi-arid and arid areas of Inner Mongolia, the wind erosion and desertification of chestnut calcium soil are serious, and the soil water and fertilizer retention capacity is weak, making it difficult to improve the yield and quality of agricultural products under the traditional planting mode. In order to explore the application effect of new microbial fertilizers, the "14th Five-Year Plan" National Key R&D Program carried out the project "Integrated Demonstration of Chestnut Calumeite Soil Health Maintenance and Capacity Improvement Technology in Semi-arid and Arid Areas". Green Nitrogen Biotech and the Academy of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Sciences of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region organized a test demonstration of DME microecological application technology on sunflower planting, in order to find a more sustainable planting solution.

The test results showed that the number of viable bacteria could reach 3 billion CFU/mL, the diameter of the sunflower tray was 26.33cm, the grain weight of a single tray was 216.77g, and the yield of the plot reached 433.54kg, which was 6.4% higher than that of the traditional fertilization method of 407.2kg.

At the same time, although the diameter of the flower plate of traditional fertilization is slightly larger (28.3cm), its grain weight is lighter, only 203.6g, which means that the green nitrogen biological bacterial solution not only improves the total yield, but also optimizes the grain quality, bringing higher economic benefits.

In the test demonstration, the green nitrogen biological bacterial solution was applied three times, 2L/mu each time, the total cost of bacteria was 72 yuan/mu, and the average yield per mu increased by 26.34kg, if calculated according to the market price of 10 yuan/kg, the average income per mu increased by 260 yuan, and the input-output ratio was as high as 3.6, which means that for every 1 yuan invested, 3.6 yuan can be obtained.

In contrast, although the yield increase effect of a brand of liquid fertilizer is higher, with an average yield increase of 47.46kg per mu, but because of its high application cost (150 yuan/mu), the input-output ratio is only 3.16, so the input-output ratio of green nitrogen biological bacterial liquid is higher, that is, higher income is achieved with less cost, which is more economical for farmers and suitable for large-scale promotion.

DME microecological technology not only performs well in sunflower planting, but also shows outstanding advantages in stabilizing yield and increasing income, improving quality, and enhancing stress resistance in the planting of cash crops such as cotton and grapes.

Cotton Cultivation (Xinjiang)

In many experimental plots in Xinjiang, the cotton plants with DME bacterial solution were more rovious, the root system was more developed, and the number of harvested bales increased, and the yield increased by 13.9% compared with the control group, bringing higher benefits to cotton farmers.

Grape Cultivation (Hebei)

In the Hebei grape planting experiment, the grape yield of DME bacterial solution was increased by 5.2%, the fruit ripened faster, the number of grains was larger, and the quality was significantly improved. At the same time, the plants grow more robberly, enhance stress resistance, reduce the use of pesticides, reduce production costs, and achieve a greener planting model.

Through a large number of experiments, it has been verified that the green nitrogen organism has a significant yield increase effect on field crops and cash crops, which not only improves crop yield, but also optimizes quality, improves economic benefits, reduces production costs, and helps the promotion of green planting mode!
