Recently, the "6th Microbial Fertilizer Technology Research and Industry Development Conference" was grandly held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province. Dr. Cui Wenjing, R&D Director of Green Nitrogen Biotechnology Co., Ltd., attended the conference and delivered a presentation titled "Application of Directed Microecological DME Solutions in Crop Cultivation." Organized by the Microbial Fertilizer Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, the event attracted not only leaders from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Chinese Academy of Sciences but also over 200 representatives and experts from the business community, focusing on the innovative development direction of the microbial fertilizer industry and discussing its future prospects and development trends.

In 2022, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs issued the "Notice on the Governance of Degraded Farmland in 2022," proposing that by 2025, the quality of farmland in project areas would improve by 0.5 grades, the pH value of acidified farmland soil would increase by an average of 0.5 units, and the salt content of saline-alkali farmland would be less than 0.3%.

At the conference, Dr. Cui emphasized the importance of soil health for sustainable agricultural development. As the foundation of crop growth, improving soil quality is the cornerstone of green agricultural development. To address issues such as continuous cropping obstacles, soil compaction, salinization, and acidification, and to promote the governance of saline-alkali and acidified farmland, microbial agents have become a crucial tool for solving these challenges. Dr. Cui shared practical cases of the directed microecological DME solution adopted by Shandong Shengfeng Seed Industry and the Beijing Suburban Experimental Base. The solution features on-demand functional bacteria, utilizing a planting microbial regimen combining soybean rhizobia and Bacillus, helping clients achieve a 10% increase in crop yield and a 40% reduction in costs.

Dr. Cui stated that the directional microecological DME principle pioneered by Nbio can advance the production of microbial agents to the application stage. Utilizing the DME microbial cultivation machine, it overcomes the shelf-life challenge, ensuring a live bacterial count of 20-100 CFU/mL at the time of use, with a target functional bacterial purity exceeding 98%. This approach significantly reduces operational costs while maintaining the same usage frequency and dosage, thereby enhancing the efficacy of the microbial agent. Additionally, Nbio has officially launched a DME solution for crop cultivation (click the blue text for details), offering more flexible and personalized options tailored to the microbial needs of different crops at various growth stages, addressing diverse soil conditions and crop requirements. Dr. Cui's presentation not only highlighted the pivotal role of microbial agents in modern agriculture but also provided robust support for the sustainable development of the agricultural industry chain. In the future, Nbio will continue to refine its innovations to enable microbial agents to play a greater role in the green, efficient, and sustainable development of agriculture.
